I bought a 20lb box of this and it arrived in a few days from the facility. The box was well packed and the green beans were fresh and ready for roasting. I roast using a FreshRoaster SR800 with an extension tube from Razzo Roasting (on Etsy) It took me a few roasts to dial-in the best profile and even the first roasts were spectacular. I tend to roast coffees to dark, between the late first crack and up to 2nd crack, begin the cooling immediately after. Each person who tasted it fell in love with it and found a few different tasting notes. It was bright and sweet and appears to have a honey/molasses taste, at least the way my roasts came out. The number one comment was that the coffee was dark, yet smooth to the taste. Those who drank it dark loved it, but it also worked incredibly well for those who liked cream. At the time of this review I just finished roasting the last of the box, using the final 5lbs for what will be drank at my daughter’s upcoming wedding. Roast, cool, put in bags with valves and let rest for a few days, then get ready to have your senses and taste buds awoken with how delicious this coffee is.

One of our customer favorites! We roast it on the darker side of medium. Love it!

Roasted the 11 pounds that came with the purchase of our roaster last summer and people started asking for more. It’s now a regular on our list of offerings. We roast it up to right before second crack starts. Smooth and a little smokey are the comments we get the most.
